The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty to murdering his wife in June 2016 during a brief appearance at the Victorian supreme court on Wednesday. The woman’s body was found in bushes at the car park of a tennis club in Melbourne’s Dallas on 17 June 2016. In March he pleaded not guilty to the woman’s murder following a pre-trial committal hearing in Melbourne magistrates’ court. A male relative of the accused gave evidence during the committal hearing that the victim objected to her husband’s Isis sympathies.
