KUANTAN: Allegations that Alliance Steel (M) Sdn Bhd was involved in water theft stemmed from misunderstanding and confusion, says its lawyer Jason Ng Kau. It was reported that Alliance Steel was being investigated for the construction of a water supply system without approval. "On Nov 7 last year, Paip directed Suramas Perunding to use the Electromagnetic Flow Model water meter for the temporary water supply to the premises. However, the 600mm Siemens water meter is not available in Malaysia and has to be custom made overseas. "We held a meeting with Alliance Steel and they have set the record straight.
