The tourism department has forwarded a proposal to the state government for approval. “The proposal has been routed through UP tourism department to a Delhi-based firm, consultants of which are expected to arrive for assessing details in a fortnight. As per the official, apart from ropeway facility, officials of civil aviation department and tourism department were present working on a module for providing airbus facility between Lucknow and Allahabad besides helicopter service for tourists seeking aerial view of Sangam was also on cards. The team of consultant arriving in Allahabad later this month would check technical feasibility of the project here,” he said.
