RAWALPINDI: Federal Minister for Railways, Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed, on Tuesday predicted that all thieves will be sent behind bars within next two to three months. Sheikh Rasheed, while talking to reporters in Rawalpindi, said that the government was paying off Rs7 billion interest of loans taken by former premier Nawaz Sharif and former Punjab chief minister Shehbaz Sharif. The minister claimed that he had heard Shehbaz Sharif demanding NRO [National Reconciliation Ordinance]. Rasheed said that cases filed against Shehbaz Sharif, Hamza Shehbaz and Salman Shehbaz were ‘serious’. The railways’ minister vowed that he would provide employment to around 0.2 million people after signing of ML-1 project.
