The University of Oxford topped the Times Higher Education’s world rankings for the ninth year in a row. Even though the University of St Andrews came second in The Times and The Guardian’s rankings for 2024, it completely flopped in the Times Higher Education rankings. Basically, Times Higher Education puts much more emphasis on the research environment, international outlook and income of the unis. So, here all the UK unis that came in the top 200 unis in the world in Times Higher Education’s World University Rankings, and the position they came in.
