SUKKUR: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari while highlighting the importance of women empowerment has said that all political parties need to work together to provide relief to women from underprivileged backgrounds. The PPP chief also said that PPP has played an important role in empowering women. Bilawal alleged that the government of Pakistan Muslims League-Nawaz (PML-N) has taken measures against NGOs and INGOs, while non-government organisations play an important role in the country. Saying that PPP is working with various NGOs to promote development, Bilawal added that the party also supports organisations that support women. The no-confidence motion submitted last week by lawmakers Syed Agha Raza and Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo contained the signatures of 14 MPAs.
