Thousands of devotees joined the congregation at 7am where Agriculture, Food and Livestock Minister Aminur Rashid urged all for taking collective efforts for nation-building. He said that everyone must work with unity to move the country forward so that the future generations can inherit a developed, prosperous and livable Bangladesh. Special prayers were offered after the Eid prayers, seeking peace, prosperity and welfare for the country, the nation and the Muslim Ummah. According to the district administration, a total of 4,151 Eid congregations were held in 17 upazilas of the district with great enthusiasm and festivity.
