All is well, Ruto says amid jitters over Raila

Deputy President William Ruto wants politicians to stop politicking and instead use their energy on developing their counties. This followed undercurrents staged by the entry of Raila Odinga after his handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta on March 9. The DP, who has opposed Raila Odinga's calls for a referendum, said leaders must implement what they promised the electorate prior to last year’s elections. Nakuru governor Lee Kinyanjui said the county was ready to help farmers form cooperative societies to market their produce. Ruto added that the government will improve all roads leading to major agricultural zones to enable farmers transport their farm, produce to the markets and the factories.
