The run-up to the Khulna City Corporation election is getting more heated as the ruling Awami League and its rival BNP get ready for a battle of ballots. “The Election Commission has taken all preparations to ensure a free, fair and acceptable election,” Returning Officer Yunus Ali to the Dhaka Tribune on Sunday.
