There have been agitations among clients of the company following the postponement of the payment of extra values earned on their gold investments, three times. Some clients, out of frustration, attacked some staff of Menzgold, a situation which forced the temporary closure of the company’s offices on Friday. Menzgold is in legal fight with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) over a regulatory impasse which has resulted in the company suing the state body.
