According to well-placed sources of The Telegraph, the "mood" during Monday's working committee meeting in New Delhi was to first see whether the Supreme Court disposed of the review petition by Wednesday. Clearly, the Board intends appealing for time on the grounds that its review petition is yet to be acceptedhrown out. The Board filed its review petition on August 16 and, among other things, sought CJI Thakur's recusal and that the matter be dealt with by a larger bench. CJI Thakur has been accused of being biased, which may just provoke him even more. Just last week, CJI Thakur didn't hesitate to take on no less than the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
