While we're not 100% sure whether it'll happen, it'd make sense if the last few episodes do contain an Aidan cameo. After Big dying, Carrie is now single, and it looks like she's going to get back on the dating scene. Of course, number one on this list is when she cheated on Aidan with Mr Unreliable, aka Big. Yep, she invited the man she cheated with, to a weekend break with the man she cheated on. Honestly, what the bloody hell was Carrie thinking?
