A defunct water ATM in the Jharana Sahi area of Bhubaneswar on Sunday. Only 10 days after the units were thrown open to local residents, the electricity connection required to run them was snapped. "We had secured temporary connection for the (Jharana Sahi) machine, but the electricity officials disconnected it after a few days. After it got the go-ahead, the firm started construction of four purification plants and 40 water ATMs. "We had secured a temporary electricity connection for the machine which was disconnected by the electricity officials few days after the inauguration.
