Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua has stated that he won't be drawn into sideshows with United Democratic Alliance (UDA) chairman Johnstone Muthama who has persistently called him out over allegedly misusing county funds. In a TV interview with KTN News, Wednesday, May 11, Mutua noted that they would both consolidate votes for Deputy President William Ruto despite being strange bedfellows. The governor noted that he would prioritise the deal he signed with the Kenya Kwanza coalition as opposed to other theatrics.
