(February 12, 2023) — In his first ever world championship race, Cameron Alexander (North Vancouver, BC) captured a bronze medal for Canada in today’s men’s downhill at the 2023 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Courchevel and Méribel, France. Today’s bronze comes just over 11 months after Alexander finished first in a World Cup downhill in Kvitfjell, Norway. Crawford, racing two days after his gold medal performance in the super-G, finished fifth for his second top 5 of these world championships.
