It appears that Microsoft is planning to expand voice control of Xbox One consoles beyond Cortana. Windows Central reports that Xbox One support for Amazon’s Alexa and the Google Assistant is on the way. There’s a potential gold mine hidden in voice control with digital assistants. At first, I played Shepard as the lead while my wife played the team members as support. But with Amazon and Google’s digital assistants available in so many homes, voice-controlled gameplay could be a game changer.
