Aldi launches click-and-collect for first time in UK with full rollout in weeks

The supermarket said it's currently running a trial for Aldi colleagues in a Midlands store, with plans to extend the scheme to all customers if successful. As part of the trial, Aldi colleagues will be able to choose from a full range of grocery items online before visiting their store to collect the goods. All items will be brought to their cars by store colleagues contact-free, in line with social distancing rules. The click-and-collect trial will see orders being picked and packed by Aldi colleagues ready for customer collection. Giles Hurley, at Aldi UK and Ireland, said: "We know that more and more people want to access the high-quality, affordable food they know they can get at Aldi.
