Some say there is a ghost at the Albury Inn but owner James Rennie says he has not seen one as he prepares to celebrate the pub's 140th anniversary. Within a year it had been extended and became the Opawa Hotel until it was destroyed by fire in 1873. He financed the building of a second hotel, Railway Hotel, which would eventually become the Albury Tavern.
