Alberta's unemployment rate continues to decline with the addition of 19,000 full time jobs, according to numbers released Friday by Statistics Canada. "In February the unemployment rate fell by 0.5 percentage points to 8.3 per cent, as fewer people searched for work," read the release. Canada turns cornerAcross the nation, Canada's economy pushed the unemployment rate down to 6.6 per cent. An increase of more than 105,000 full-time jobs offset a decline of nearly 90,000 part-time jobs. The current national jobless rate is tied with its lowest level in almost a decade.
