A First Nations man from Meander River has his sights set on helping a family cover some of their back-to-school expenses. "Coming up on a new school season I figured someone would be more than happy to receive a little help," said Chalifoux, who made the offer in a Facebook post last week. "There's a lot of people going through a lot of tough times," he said. In the post Chalifoux asks readers to write him a private message of 1,000 words why they could use the cash. It's got me thinking in so many different ways on how I can help people out there.
