MANILA, Philippines — Philippine National Police (PNP) chief General Oscar Albayalde held a meeting on Friday with police officials of the Mimaropa Police Regional Office (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan) to discuss and assess election security and natural disaster readiness of the police. In a statement on Friday, the PNP said Albayalde went to Calapan, Oriental Mindoro to conduct a command conference at the Police Reional Office IV-B to assess the operations and preparations against election security threats.
