Gen. Oscar D. Albayalde on Tuesday reminded his men to extend their patience and showcase discipline when dealing with the public because they are in public service. Albayalde issued the statement hours after ordering the relief of three policemen caught on video harassing a motorist. “I am reminding all our police officers to extend their patience in dealing with the public especially that we are in public service,” Albayalde said. ADVERTISEMENT“I also reiterate that police officers must always showcase discipline and should conduct themselves properly all the times,” he added. He also called on the public to report not just the misdeeds of his men but also the good deeds so they can be given due recognition.
