Alarm sparks brief evacuation of Auckland Airport's international terminalBevan Read/Fairfax.co.nzA section of Auckland Airport's International terminal was briefly evacuated however passengers are now allowed back into the building. A fire alarm prompted staff to order the evacuation of the departure area of the airport shortly before 7.30pm on Tuesday. Three fire crews were called to the terminal and were still investigating the incident- Stuff Phillips said it was still unknown at this time what had caused the alarm to go off and that a fire was not confirmed at this stage. Around 7.45pm passengers were allowed back into the building.
