Veteran playmaker Jimmy Alapag of the Meralco Bolts will retire in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) after 14 years in the league. “We are very thankful to Jimmy (Alapag) for playing with us. Alapag, who was the 10th overall pick by Talk ‘N Text in the 2003 PBA rookie draft, spent 12 years with the Tropang Texters before transferring to Meralco in 2015. He was a member of the Philippine men’s basketball team in various campaigns. Alapag, with Talk ‘N Text won six titles.
