Speaking to GhanaWeb's Etsey Atisu on The Lowdown, he argued that Kyerematen should have resigned much earlier, particularly during the period when the Akufo-Addo administration faced a corruption scandal. “Alan Kyerematen resigned at the wrong time. I think it was way too late; very too late.”Alan Kyerematen first resigned from the NPP on April 17, 2008, following his loss in the 2007 NPP flagbearership race. “In 2007, I joined a distinguished group of seventeen (17) presidential aspirants to contest in the presidential primaries of NPP.
