2008 – Unknown gunmen and militants kidnap eight oil expatriates at gunpoint in Niger Delta, Nigeria. Police, in return, kill over n northern Nigeria Islamist militants attacked a police station in Bauchi. He and his brother, former policeman Andre du Toit, are responsible for the bomb blasts in Johannesburg in 2002. 2013 – The United Nations’ human rights office launches its outreach on lesbians, gays, bisexual and transgender tolerance. The outreach has, as its aim, tolerance and equality for lesbians, gays, transgender people and bisexuals.
