RENOWNED historian, Professor Toyin Falola; Alake of Egba land, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, and banker, entrepreneur and philanthropist, Mr Aigboje Aig-Imokhuede, will be conferred with the honorary doctoral degree of the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, during the institution’s 27th convocation ceremonies 2016/2017 session. This was disclosed to newsmen on Tuesday by the vice-chancellor, Professor Ganiyu Olatunji Olatunde while addressing a press conference on activities lined up for the event. The fourth honorary doctorate awardee is a notable motivational speaker and entrepreneur, Mrs Ibukun Awosika. On Tuesday, January 30, there will be convocation and award of prizes for the Faculties of Arts, Social and Management Sciences, College of Agricultural Sciences, and College of Engineering and Environmental Sciences. This, the vice chancellor said, would be followed by the award of postgraduate degree and conferment of honorary degrees on the four distinguished Nigerians.
