Now Aladdin is on the horizon - it's set for a May release - and people still aren't sure. Disney showed some footage at CinemaCon to give people a better idea of what to expect, but it's also been met with mixed reactions. There was a very mixed reaction to the Blue Genie when he was first revealed. Aladdin is directed by Guy Ritchie, and along with Will Smith as the Genie the cast includes Mena Massoud as Aladdin and Naomi Scott as Princess Jasmine. Aladdin is released in cinemas on May 24, 2019.
