The Head of the Libyan Presidential Council Fayez Al-Sarraj discussed Monday with the Interior Minister Fathi Bashagha the current security conditions in Tripoli and surrounding areas. The meeting also reviewed taking security measures and ordering patrols around Tripoli to prevail security. The Interior Ministry, meanwhile, said it had started sending out security patrols around Sabha city in southern Libya in order to prevail stability and peace. Sabha and the rest of southern Libya have been suffering from a security vacuum that is exploited by criminals and armed gangs. The security vacuum got worse after Haftar's forces had controlled Sabha and other cities last February.
