CAIRO - 15 May 2020: Al-Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el Tayyeb called on the world peoples and leaders to support the peaceful and oppressed Palestinian people in their legitimate and just cause towards recovering their right, their land and their sanctuaries. In a post on his official pages on social media, he added “stop the killing and support the due owners of the right. "I pray to Allah to have mercy on the martyrs of Palestine and to shower them with mercy and forgiveness," he added. Earlier, ten Palestinians including two women and eight children were killed in an Israeli attack on Saturday on al-Shati refugee camp in Gaza Strip, Wafa News Agency reported. A baby who was pulled out from the rubble is so far the only survivor of the attack.
