CAIRO-22 April 2021: Al Ahly suffered a 2-1 loss to Smouha on Wednesday night in the Egyptian League and missed their chance to move to the top of the Egyptian League table. The loss to Smouha is Al Ahly's first defeat in the Egyptian League since the appointment of Pitso Mosimane as Al Ahly's head coach. However, the coach finished the league season in a style with three wins and a draw. Mosimane led Al Ahly to win the two titles and complete a historic treble for the Egyptian giants. Al Ahly still have a chance to move to the top of the table as they are second in the league table with 30 points, three points behind the leaders Zamalek who have played two games more.
