Al-Ahly football team’s Swiss coach, Marcel Koller, commended his side’s performance following their convincing 4-1 win over rivals Zamalek. The match, which was a postponed fixture from the 31st week of the Egyptian Football League, showcased Al-Ahly’s dominance on the pitch. According to a report by Egyptindependent.com, Koller expected Zamalek to come out strong in the second half to compensate for their previous shortcomings. Although Al-Ahly had already clinched the Egyptian League title in the previous round, their triumph over Zamalek served as a moral boost. Al-Ahly currently sits at the top of the Egyptian Premier League 2023 ranking table with an impressive 75 points and zero defeats.
