He noted that the timely completion of these road projects will not only enhance the status of Kumasi as Ghana’s second-largest city but also, establish it as a major and strategic business destination in West Africa. According to him, he was aware that the residents of Kumasi were not pleased with the terrible road networks in the city and were eager to see the roads constructed. He said, all the necessary steps had been taken for works to commence on the poor road networks in Kumasi so the people should be a bit patient. He told hundreds of elated mechanics that once the process was over, work would commence almost immediately to fix the deplorable roads.
