According to him, Akufo-Addo’s should be blamed for the most corrupt Ghanaian President tag that hangs around his because of how he has dealt with corruption scandals under his watch. Ghana has been unimpressive in the 2019 Corruption Perception Index(CPI) rankings released last week. But the government hit back denying that some of the persons had any family ties with the President but arguing that those with ties to the President are well qualified for the positions they occupy.
