The Kroll Associates scandal involved the award of a contract by the government to Kroll Associates on the orders of the Senior Minister Yaw Osafo Maafo with prior approval by the Public Procurement Authority and the payment of monies to Kill Associates without evidence of work done, according to the Auditor-General. The Senior Minister has been subsequently surcharged for the payment because of the lack of proof of work by Kroll Associates for which it received the payment. The NDC is therefore of the firm belief that the Senior Minister and the Chairman of the Board of the Audit Service are cahoots to see Mr Domelevo out of his office.
