She said the Chair of the Electoral Commission (EC), Jean Mensa should simply be allowed to do her job. Speaking to Kumasi-based Akoma FM on Saturday, February 1, Akua Donkor said the reasons adduced by the political parties against the decision to compile a new biometric voters’ register are not tenable. “Those who said the timing is wrong cannot say that,” Madam Akua Donkor said in Akan. “Everybody should allow Jean Mensa to work because what she wants to do will help all and sundry,” the former Assembly member for Heman in the Ashanti Region said.
