Ajimobi charges Corps members to embrace self-development skills

NO fewer than 2,000 Corps members have been formally sworn-in in Oyo state for the 2017 Batch ‘B’ Orientation exercise. The Oyo State NYSC coordinator, Mrs Ifeoma Anidobi in her welcoming speech also reiterated the need for Corps members to take cognisance of the NYSC scheme, especially its skill acquisition aspect. She said, “Corps members are enjoined to embrace the Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) because it is a critical programme of the NYSC management. “This is the first time in history an orientation camp would be hosting corps members deployed to more than one state for the orientation exercise.” She said. Also present at the swearing-in ceremony were NYSC coordinators from the visiting States, as well as some government officials.
