According to the July 18 order of the Supreme Court, the BCCI has to "cooperate and act in aid of the committee and its directives." The consequences of not cooperating are bound to be serious, for it would amount to cocking a snook at the Supreme Court no less. "By filing his nomination, Shirke is already in contempt. There should be no confusion on that score," the source close to the Justice Lodha committee pointed out. Certainly not whatever follows from an order of the Supreme Court.
