Etim Ekpimah, UyoThe chairman of the Akwa Ibom State Football Association, Mr. Emmanuel Ibah, has dismissed the allegations that the state FA is biased in its organisation of the Aiteo Cup in the state. Ibah stated that the association had provided a level playing ground for all participating clubs. He lamented the decline in the number participating teams and reminded coaches and stakeholders of the significance of the championship as a veritable hunting ground for talents. “All teams are on the same platform and are guaranteed a level playing field. It was learnt that only 12 teams registered for 2018 competition in the male category while two teams including Ibom Angels and Police Machines registered in the female category.
