Jumwa hired Okuto six years ago as her private bodyguard after the State withdrew her security detail. Jumwa has since terminated Okuto’s services as a bodyguard and personal driver. Jumwa and Okuto were charged with the murder of Ngumbao Jola in 2019 during the Ganda Ward by-election.
