Telecom operator Bharti Airtel is giving away free unlimited 4G data to both existing and new consumers for a period of 90 days in a bid to take on RIL's Jio 4G. The company, on Friday, announced a special 4G data pack that offers free and unlimited data for 90 days. "While the pack is available for Rs1,495 for existing users; new users can avail this offer via first recharge of Rs1,494," Airtel said in a press statement. It must be understood, that unlimited 4G does not mean true unlimited 4G necessarily. Previously, Airtel denied all allegations made by Jio with regard to the release of additional points of interconnections (PoIs) from Airtel to Jio and MNP requests.
