Airtel Nigeria appoints new VP for mobile moneyAirtel Nigeria has appointed Veronica Onoja as Vice President for mobile money. Onoja joined Airtel in 2003 and has held several positions including Key Account Consultant, Distribution Specialist, Distribution Manager, Head of Division, Commercial; Regional Sales Manager, Zonal Business Manager, Sales Operations Director (Airtel Tanzania), and Regional Operations Director. Onoja previously served as Airtel's Regional Operations Director for the south region during which she drove the overall business operations. Regional operationsIn a related development, Airtel Nigeria also announced the promotion of Muhammad Ibrahim and Oladapo Dosunmu as Regional Operations Directors for the North and South regions. Airtel's former Regional Operations Director (West Region), Olusina Adegoke, has been reassigned as Regional Operations Director (Lagos Region), while the former Vice President, Airtel Money Operations, Femi Oshinlaja, has been appointed Regional Operations Director (West Region).
