(CNN) A Saudi-led Coalition airstrike on a school bus in Yemen that killed dozens of children last month is an "apparent war crime," Human Rights Watch said in a statement on Sunday. However a Houthi rebel government official in Yemen said 51 people, including 40 children, were killed. The bomb had been sold to Saudi Arabia as part of a State Department-sanctioned arms deal. The crisis quickly escalated into a multisided war, with neighboring Saudi Arabia leading a coalition of Gulf states against the Houthis. It warned the US to "immediately stop weapons sales to Saudi Arabia" or "risk being complicit in future atrocities."
