Airports Authority gives Libyan carriers a week to conclude contract with Dutch company Travsys to avoid its cancellationBy Sami Zaptia. London, 13 March 2019:Libya’s Airports Authority (LAA) has granted Libya’s two main state carriers, Libyan Airlines and Afriqiyah, one week to conclude a contract with Dutch company Travsys Software Solutions or it will cancel the contract. The LAA noted that Travsys had been contracted with the Libyan state airliners to provide all Libyan airports with a passenger baggage system and equipment. It added that Travsys has an existing contract to provide software, systems and equipment at Mitiga and Misrata airports. Libya Herald had contacted Travsys for further information about the contract, but the company had not responded by time of publication.
