It has emerged that Airbus has suffered a data breach through the customer account of Turkish Airlines, giving access to information on 3,000 of the manufacturer’s suppliers. Gone by the alias USDoD, the information contains data on 3,000 suppliers, and it was identified through a compromised account belonging to the Turkish carrier. Such sensitive data could get into the wrong hands and prompt further attacks, or potentially competitors could get a hold of that info. This is a developing story.
