Kattaleeya Borrirak, Thai AirAsia station manager at Khon Kaen Airport, said the inaugural route is timely as the connection has already been well-received and is likely to only grow in demand, especially with the New Year's holiday just around the corner. The Phuket-Khon Kaen flight operates four times a week, departing from Phuket at 11.10 and arriving shortly after in Khon Kaen at 12.50 with return flights departing from Khon Kaen at 08.45 and arriving in Phuket at 10.40.
