OSAKA: Malaysia's long-haul budget airline AirAsia X Bhd is set to fly to Honolulu, Hawaii, USA, starting June 28 this year. The celebratory airfare will start from as low as RM499, inclusive of taxes and fees one-way, while the Premium Flatbed will be offered from RM2,999 one-way. AirAsia X will operate a four-times-weekly service from KL to Honolulu, via Osaka, Japan. However, non-Malaysian passengers would need to apply for a Japanese visa to stay in Osaka for a few days. AirAsia X also offers Fly-Thru service, wherein passengers are able to connect seamlessly to Honolulu from other cities within the AirAsia Group’s extensive flight network, with just one additional stop.
