Its creators hope a flying taxi service could take to the skies in New Zealand within six years. German drone company Volocopter started unmanned test flights of an air taxi, which could carry two passengers, in Dubai last September. There are significant issues to be worked through before the public will be able to hop into an air taxi. The same problem exists for working out how such an air taxi service would be regulated.
