Air shipment of 57,600 doses of AstraZeneca anti-Coronavirus vaccines arrive in Tripoli through COVAXBy Sami Zaptia. London, 9 April 2021:A shipment of 57,600 doses of AstraZeneca anti-Coronavirus vaccines arrived at Tripoli’s Mitiga airport last night. This follows the arrival in Tripoli of the first ever batch on 4 April consisting of 101,252 doses of Sputnik V vaccines that had arrived from the UAE. Speaking to Libyan media on the arrival of the latest batch of vaccines, Health Minister Ali Zanati reiterated that 12 million doses of vaccine are expected to arrive in Libya. He said that he expected the public to start receiving their vaccines by the middle or the end of next week.
