An air quality advisory due to wildfire smoke has once again been issued for parts of southern British Columbia. air quality health index shows Metro Vancouver’s air sitting at a 4, while the Fraser Valley’s air is rated as a 5, both of which indicate a moderate health risk. A “noticeable haze” currently hangs over both areas, and “persons with chronic underlying medical conditions should postpone strenuous exercise until the advisory is lifted,” the advisory says.
